This privacy policy (hereinafter - “Privacy Policy”) is a main policy regulating data protection issues for MeowLingua mobile application, website (www.meowlanguage.com), and its developers regardless entity or individual (hereinafter – “Controller” or “Controllers”).

Privacy of our users is one of our main priorities for us. This Privacy policy contains information about types of data that is collected and processed during application or site usage, purposes and methods of data processing, and measures we take to save your data.

This Privacy Policy applies only to data about users that we collect online and does not cover processing of any information collected offline or via channels other than MeowLingua’s website and mobile application.

Consent

Before you start using our website and application, you provide consent for data processing on the terms laid down in the Privacy Policy. 

If you provide consent by taping check-box on the relevant screen you provide Controllers with authority to process your data listed below and authorize them to use it until you revoke your consent or application / site are terminated.

Information we collect

We collect the following information:

• your child’s first name and age (optional);

• IP-address.

Purposes of data collection

• We collect your data for the following purposes:
• provide, operate, and maintain our website and application;
• personalize our website, mobile application, and services;

MeowLingua follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit the website and mobile application. All hosting companies do this and a part of hosting services' analytics. The information collected by log files includes browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks.

The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users' movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.

Cookies 

MeowLingua website uses 'cookies'.

These cookies are used to store information including visitors' preferences, and the pages on the website that the visitor accessed or visited. The information is used to optimize the users' experience by customizing our web page content based on visitors' browser type and/or other information.

Third-party ad servers or ad networks uses technologies like cookies, JavaScript, or Web Beacons that are used in their respective advertisements and links that appear on MeowLingua, which are sent directly to users' browser. They automatically receive your IP address when this occurs. These technologies are used to measure the effectiveness of their advertising campaigns and/or to personalize the advertising content that you see on websites that you visit.

Note that MeowLingua has no access to or control over these cookies that are used by third-party advertisers.

Third-Party Privacy Policies

While using MeowLingua mobile application you can simultaneously use third-parties services, e.g. Google and Apple services while using voice or camera. In such cases, MeowLingua does not process any of the information collected, has no access to your data, and is not liable for third parties privacy policies and processes.

MeowLingua's Privacy Policy does not apply to other advertisers or websites. Thus, we are advising you to consult the respective Privacy Policies of these third-party ad servers for more detailed information. It may include their practices and instructions about how to opt-out of certain options.

You can choose to disable cookies through your individual browser options. To know more detailed information about cookie management with specific web browsers, it can be found at the browsers' respective websites.

CCPA Privacy Rights (Do Not Sell My Personal Information)

Under the CCPA, among other rights, California consumers have the right to:

• request that a business that collects a consumer's personal data disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal data that a business has collected about consumers;
• request that a business deletes any personal data about the consumer that a business has collected;
• request that a business that sells a consumer's personal data, not sell the consumer's personal data;

GDPR Data Protection Rights

We would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:

Children's Information

MeowLingua collects some Personal Identifiable Information of children under the age of 16. In this case, consent should be given or authorized by the holder of parental responsibility for the child.

Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity.

If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our website, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.

Term of processing of the Personal Data

We process your information as long as you are a registered user of MeowLingua website or mobile application. In some cases, we continue to store and process your information longer if it is precluded by the applicable legislation.

You can request to delete your data but this can cause problems with the website and mobile application usage.

Suspension of the services

We can suspend providing you our services if the realization of your rights will consequence in the inability of the service providing, we have a right to realize your rights but to suspend our services.

Account Deletion

1. Open the app

2. Go to the menu

3. Navigate to the "Profile" tab

4. Click on the "Delete Account" button

or

1. Find your ID number in the app menu

2. Send it to us at contact@meowlanguage.com with a request to delete your account.

All information collected by us will be deleted (you can find information about the data we collect above).

Please note that no accounts are created in the free version; to stop sharing information, simply delete the app.
